A note for the youth:

Leave your cell phone at home or in your car. So… bring a real flashlight & camera, a Bible that has paper pages, an alarm clock & watch, and a notebook & pen. Cell phones and electronics may be confiscated and returned at the end of the week in an effort to use this time as a retreat from the pressures and demands of the world ‘back home’ and make an intentional effort to focus on the Word of God, preached and read; prayer alone and with others; and building friendships and communicating face-to-face with others at the conference.

If at any time you need to communicate with your child or they with you, we would be more than happy to let them use our phones! Counselors will also have their phones with them at all times. Your child may communicate with you through them at the start of the week so that you have their phone number as well.

Memory Verse:

7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
   whose trust is the Lord.
8 He is like a tree planted by water,
   that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
   for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
   for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

9 The heart is deceitful above all things,
   and desperately sick;
   who can understand it?
10 “I the Lord search the heart
   and test the mind,
to give every man according to his ways,
   according to the fruit of his deeds.”
